Dr. Delerme is a licensed psychologist at Aram Counseling & Wellness Center who delivers integrative, evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology and has been practicing post-graduation since 2021, building a robust portfolio of clinical experience across private practice, outpatient programs, in-home intensive early intervention services, community mental health centers, and hospital-based outpatient mental health settings. Dr. Delerme has provided individual, group, and family therapy to clients presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. Her areas of focus include anxiety and mood disorders, identity development, sexuality and relationship concerns, and the unique stressors faced by people of color and other marginalized communities. Clinically, she primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), integrating these with person-centered, strengths-based, and mindfulness-informed approaches. She is intentional about tailoring each treatment plan to the client’s values, cultural context, developmental stage, and goals, with an emphasis on building sustainable coping strategies and measurable progress over time.
Dr. Delerme is deeply passionate about the therapeutic process and is committed to partnering with clients as they navigate life transitions, acute stressors, and long-standing patterns that may be keeping them stuck. She brings empathy, active listening, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental stance to every session, striving to help clients enhance self-awareness, build resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth. Her style is collaborative and transparent; she prioritizes explaining the “why” behind interventions, inviting feedback, and adjusting the pace and focus of therapy based on each client’s needs. Her goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment where clients feel heard, validated, and genuinely understood—particularly those who may have had prior experiences of being dismissed, misunderstood, or marginalized in other systems. She views therapy as a space where clients can experiment with new ways of thinking and relating, process complex emotions, and develop a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Delerme is a dedicated professional and lifelong learner who continually seeks out training and best practices to enhance the quality of care she provides. She is a proud dog mom and an active member of her community, spending time coaching high school basketball, which keeps her engaged with youth and connected to the values of teamwork, perseverance, and mentorship that also inform her clinical practice. She enjoys reading and exploring new books and gravitates toward creative outlets that allow her to unwind, recharge, and express herself. These personal interests and commitments contribute to a grounded, relatable presence in the therapy room, where clients experience her as both highly skilled and authentically human.
