I hold a Master of Social Work and bring a diverse and well-rounded clinical background across multiple levels of care and populations. My professional experience includes providing outpatient behavioral therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder, supporting individuals and families in hospice and end-of-life care, and working with adults in inpatient psychiatric settings. I have also practiced in private practice environments, offering individual, family, and group therapy to clients across the lifespan. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor treatment approaches to the unique needs of each client while maintaining a strong clinical foundation.
I utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, systems theory, and holistic approaches. My clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, self-harm behaviors, school-related stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ related issues. I maintain CPR certification, am trained in Narcan administration for opioid overdose response, and have completed advanced training in multi-generational developmental trauma and contextual trauma. Additionally, I have facilitated a design thinking roundtable focused on expanding equitable access to mental and physical healthcare resources for the Deaf community, reflecting my commitment to inclusive and accessible care.
At the core of my work is a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship and the importance of meeting clients where they are. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, recognizing that each individual’s lived experience is unique. I find fulfillment in supporting clients through self-discovery, trauma processing, and life transitions, empowering them to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change aligned with their personal goals.
Outside of clinical work, I value creativity, connection, and balance. Originally from a small Appalachian town, I enjoy live music, hiking, antiquing, reading, and film. In my free time, I can often be found crafting at home with my dog and cat or spending time with friends and loved ones exploring new places, food, and conversations.
