Soroush Hemmati, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with over five years of experience in mental health counseling. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015 and his Master of Social Work in 2019, both from George Mason University.
Soroush is dedicated to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care to individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use disorders, life transitions, and relationship issues. He works with clients across the lifespan, with a particular passion for supporting high school adolescents, young adults, and older adults. His therapeutic approach is person-centered and collaborative, fostering a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Soroush integrates a variety of modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. He brings a thoughtful and inclusive perspective to his practice, with deep respect for cultural and religious differences.
